COVID-19 SAFETY PROTOCOLS
We managed to have a fun and safe show in 2020 in spite of the pandemic. Let’s do it again! We do not want anyone to get sick because of our show.
STAY HOME if you have a fever or cough, other signs of illness, have been around someone who has those kinds of symptoms, or know you’ve been recently exposed to Covid-19 (even if you feel okay). We hope this is common sense. We’ll post lots of pics for you and do some Facebook Live as well.
Guidelines:
- Masks or gaiters strongly encouraged any time you’re close to other people or indoors. If you can’t or don’t want to mask, keep a 6′ distance between yourself and others.
- Don’t be a close-talker. Personal space bubble, people! 6 feet! (An aircooled VW bug is about 5′ wide.)
- Follow any/all guidelines or signage posted by the Fargo Moorhead Visitors’ Center if you intend to go inside the building.
- Bring hand sanitizer for yourself and use it often and especially after eating. We will also try to provide some scattered around on site.
- Don’t touch people’s cars or stick your head inside and breathe all over. (Car Show 101: don’t do this even when there’s no pandemic!)
- Bring your own chairs, portable canopy, etc. so you don’t need to crowd with others.
- Keep track of your kids and have them follow these rules too.
- Have respect for different views and ‘love thy club members.’ Regardless of how any particular individual personally feels about the seriousness of the pandemic, we’re asking everyone to follow the CDC recommendations, so that EVERYONE is safe and has a good time at our show. We’re here for the cars anyway, not argue about this stuff.

Other campsites
If you have a larger non-VW camper, bringing your pets, or want to knock back a few cold ones the night before the show, there are many campsites with various amenities and hookups in the Fargo/Moorhead area. A quick Google search will find ’em for you! Don’t show up to the Visitors Center and assume they won’t notice your small dog or your cooler of beer. Our club loves this venue and wants to be invited back each year.
